What does a first session with you look like?
The initial appointment is an hour long. The m appointment is to learn about you and perform a psychiatric evaluation. This is used to gather information regarding your mental health, physical health, social history, family history, medications, allergies, etc. We will discuss treatment options and how you would like to proceed. I will have monthly follow-up appointments after beginning a treatment and when making changes to the treatment. The appointment frequency will change to once every three months and as needed once stabilization is achieved. During the follow-up appointments, we will review the treatment efficacy and tolerance as well as answer all of your questions. The follow-up appointments are usually 30 minutes.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I provide medication treatment and monitoring. Laboratory testing will be ordered as needed for medication monitoring or assessment and Genesight testing can be done at the patient?�?s request.
