What does a first session with you look like?

We know that when someone feels valued, heard, and empowered, that's when we see problem-solving, and when positive changes are made. Utilizing a realistic approach, with warmth, collaboration and compassion, I work with clients to navigate to a healthier path of empowerment, communication, connection, and recognizing strengths.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I integrate a variety of treatment approaches into my work, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Informed CBT, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) therapies. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, providing a supportive environment to identify and challenge thoughts, feelings, and behaviors keeping you stuck.
