In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?

I'm a real person, it just so happens that I'm also therapist. I’ve experienced my own challenges - just like everyone else. However, I began to experience my true successes (both romantic and career) when I did the work on myself. When I took the time to invest in and heal myself, navigating my career and personal relationships became clearer…it actually became easier. And I’m not saying I have all the answers because I don’t. However, given the path we have all been on since the pandemic began, I can’t think of a better way to help people heal than to start from the inside out, and then show them how to apply that good “inside” energy to “outside” situations. So whatever is keeping you from being the best version of yourself, let’s work on it together, you owe yourself that much.

Are there any recurring themes or issues you’ve noticed as you treat people in your area of specialization, and how has this insight guided your approach?

I think the recurring theme right now is the pandemic is taking its toll on us and our relationships – unless we take care to make sure that it doesn’t. Some people are giving up on life and love, while others are realizing that they may not be the person they want to be anymore. Maybe they are not satisfied in their relationship - or maybe its their partner who is unhappy - and they are unsure of how to approach it. People are home more because of the pandemic, but then why are so many relationships coming apart at the seams? Why aren’t some people enjoying being home…being together? There’s no simple answer, and sometimes we need help navigating the storm.

What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

I believe in full disclosure. So with that said, I want you to know that this journey won't be easy, but it will be worth it.
