What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including ADHD, Addiction, Anger, Anxiety, Behavioral Issues, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality, Career, Chronic Illness, Coping Skills, Depression, Divorce / Breakup, Domestic Abuse, Grief / Loss, Infidelity, LGBTQIA+, Life Transition, Men’s Issues, OCD / Obsessive-Compulsive, Postpartum / Pregnancy, Relationships, Self Esteem, Self Harm, Sex Therapy, Sexual Abuse, Sleep / Insomnia, Stress, Trauma / PTSD and Women’s Issues.

What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?

Coming from a diverse background and also dealing with adversities growing up and during my military career in the United States Marine Corps, I have come to understand several issues that may come along within a micro-macro level that influence our day to day thoughts, actions, behaviors and various cultures.
