What does a first session with you look like?
The act of being not only heard, but understood, is healing in and out of itself. I provide supportive psychotherapy utilizing a relational, strengths-based approach that empowers the client to build on their strengths. We will work together, in a respectful and non-judge mental manner, to decide the process and focus of therapy.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use an integrated approach in therapy; I examine multiple factors that may be impacting the client. Some of these factors could include past experiences and/or relationship dynamics. I value the unique needs and history of each client.
