What does a first session with you look like?
First, I commend you for taking the bold set-to seek help and make an appointment to see me. At the end of your visit, you will be given the best treatment options that is individualized. A treatment plan that may comprise of medication management, recommended labs or procedures, and referrals for psychotherapy or appropriate treatment program.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I mainly utilize mental health treatment options that includes medication and referral to psychotherapy. In addition to traditional forms of treatment, I incorporate recommendation for complementary and alternative treatments such as yoga and meditation that focuses on connecting the mind and body through series of movements and breathing exercises. Lastly, referrals to treatment programs and recovery programs are part of the services I provide.
