What does a first session with you look like?
When we meet, you will discover I use a lot of humor, curiosity and can sometimes be direct when needed. I love helping people heal and empower them to make the changes they need to live a life consistent with who they are. You can expect to laugh, cry, and experience your emotions in a safe space. Prepare to face some discomfort, but at the end of the session you will have more clarity about navigating the hard stuff so you can feel joy and peace.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I have a very diverse background and have worked with children, teens, young adults through geriatric populations. I am eclectic in my approach because everybody is different, but I am drawn towards Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, mindfulness, and some other stuff mixed in. I am always looking to learn new skills that will fit the needs of my clients!
