The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. My goal is to empower people to make positive changes in their lives and help themselves become the person that they want to be.

She takesa humanistic approach that involves unconditional positive regard with a blend of techniques including person-centered, motivational, solution-focused, cognitive, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness to work with the client to find the methods that will fit their needs. Molly starts where the client is and helps them explore their reasons for choosing therapy and identify their goals.
