What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Nancy Embleton is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2003. She has a Bachelor of Social Work from Rhode Island College in 1987 and obtained her Master's in Social Work from Salem State University in 1996. Nancy has more than 25 years of experience working in behavioral health and health care fields. She is skilled in crisis assessment and intervention, believes in a whole person approach for health and wellness, and incorporates a strength based humanistic approach which assists clients in obtaining practical solutions for issues and symptom management. Nancy enjoys working with older teens and adults of all ages who may be encountering depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship stress or chronic health conditions. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys spending time at the beach, photography, and spending time with her two senior dogs.
