What does a first session with you look like?
Client's can expect to have better insight on what triggers their symptoms/learn how to manage/decrease symptoms that are impairing their daily functioning.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I currently use CBT known as cognitive behavioral therapy to help client decrease anxiety/depression. CBT helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way. EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) (EMDR) is a psychotherapy treatment that is designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories.
