What does a first session with you look like?
My clients can expect to gain invaluable insights, develop practical skills, and experience long-term change and growth. Through our work together, my clients will gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the impact of past experiences. My clients will develop healthier coping strategies, enhance their emotional regulation skills, and cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness. My clients will learn to navigate challenges with resilience and build meaningful connections based on trust and authenticity. Our sessions will provide my clients with a safe space to express themselves freely, process emotions, and explore new perspectives. Ultimately, my clients will emerge with increased self-awareness and self-compassion, and the ability to create a more fulfilling and joyful life.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I integrate a diverse range of therapeutic modalities to create a transformative and client-centered experience. Grounded in attachment theory, I help clients explore how early relationships influence their current patterns and beliefs, fostering secure attachments and healthier interpersonal connections. Drawing from psychodynamic theory, I delve into unconscious processes and unresolved conflicts to promote self-awareness and conscious choices for personal growth. Somatic therapy allows clients to connect with their body's wisdom, facilitating deep healing and trauma release. Utilizing person-centered therapy, I provide an empathetic and non-judgmental space for authentic exploration. Additionally, I utilize inner child work and parts work to facilitate emotional healing, integration of fragmented parts, and empowerment in clients who have experienced trauma.
