What does a first session with you look like?
We will spend the first session getting to know each other to make sure this is a good fit for you. After that we will focus on behavioral changes that can improve your life and relationships as well on focusing on your inner life.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I am a Licensed Mental Health counselor. I am also a follower of Jesus Christ. I like to let people know that to let you know what worldview I am coming from. I use a variety of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Reality Therapy. For couples I tend to loosely follow Gottman's Method. Whether faith plays a role in your counseling is totally up to you!
