What does a first session with you look like?
After your first session, we will have established a clear goal to help you begin creating change in your life. As we work together you will experience feeling heard, learn strategies to disrupt and change the behaviors you are experiencing, and have open and honest conversation about your progress. At the end of therapy you will feel that you have gained skills to help you to continue to grow into the healthiest person you can be.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I am trained in multiple evidence-based practices such as EMDR, EMDR R-TEP and G-TEP,TF-CBT, Child Parent Psychotherapy for children 0-5, Seeking Safety and Managing and Adapting Practices.
