What does a first session with you look like?
Together, we'll explore how your childhood, past traumas, belief systems and thought patterns have affected your general well-being and happiness. We will work through patterns of behavior that are no longer beneficial in your life, tackle any relationship difficulties, nurture your emotional needs and address general concerns. I will provide tools to help you break the cycle of unhealthy habits and thoughts, improve self-reflection, promote self-acceptance and increase your self-esteem.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Every therapist has their own style of working. I offer an integrative approach to therapy. This means that I use different tools and techniques from a variety of modalities (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Solution Focused Therapy) that best suit my client and their needs. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and can incorporate this into your treatment plan.
