What does a first session with you look like?
The first session is always the most difficult. Not knowing what to expect can be awful. With me, I will allow you to feel comfortable and feel at ease to open up. One thing I can say with confidence is that you will never leave a session not feeling some type of accomplishment.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I have on going training in ESFT, PTSD, and DBT. I utilize tools to help remove barriers to treatment so that you feel comfortable growing. Again, therapy is tailored to what is best for you. If that means utilizing worksheets and assigning homework, then that is what I will help you with. If it means assisting with communication and connection with others, then that is what I will help you with.
