What does a first session with you look like?

Our sessions would be tailored to your individual needs, and we will work together to find what will work for you. While I have a lot of experience and knowledge, I find that building a therapeutic relationship with the right therapist is half the battle. My career has been focused on providing an array of services to children and their families in their homes, schools, and communities, including FBS, BHRS/IBHS, and outpatient services. In my 24+ years of experience, I have worked effectively with depression, anxiety, ADHD, ODD, autism, and a wide array of other issues of concern.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I employ a number of therapeutic styles to assist my clients in learning strategies and skills that can help to ameliorate symptoms. I develop a client-based approach with each client and their circumstances, which includes techniques from CBT, REBT, mindfulness, play therapy, and structural family therapy.
