What does a first session with you look like?
In a safe, non judgmental environment, we will work together utilizing cognitive behavioral tools to learn the necessary coping skills to building a better you. We will develop treatment goals that will guide our work together. Whether or time together is short or long, we will review your progress every couple of weeks to help ensure we are working on what's important to you.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My preferred treatment methods are based in cognitive behavioral therapy and I also integrate a strengths based perspective into my work. In addition to these methods, I also utilize motivational interviewing to meet you where you are as we increase your capacity to handle your life's responsibilities and challenges.
