What does a first session with you look like?
Upon meeting with you for the first session, it is my goal that you will feel comfortable and safe with the therapy process and that you feel heard and understood. I work with patients from a patient/client-centered approach to help them work through any current mental health issues, struggles or challenges in their life, at their own pace.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Further, I have advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and I utilize a combination of techniques and treatment strategies to help patients work from within a Strengths-Based Cognitive Behavioral Modality, to make gains in treatment and their overall lives.
