What does a first session with you look like?
Actively listening to your concerns is a must for me. Active listening will enable me to understand and identify your mental health challenge, leading to the proper treatment. It will be a collaborative and interactive care plan. You will better understand your diagnosis and the treatment plan.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Due to the challenging nature of mental and behavioral health disorders, I use a Positive and Supportive approach when dealing with the patient. I understand that each patient is unique, and I provide Individualized patient care. Use various assessment tools such as the Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) scale to diagnose anxiety disorder, Patient Health Questionnaire to diagnose depression (PHQ-9), Mood Disorder Questionnaire to diagnose bipolar disorder.
