What does a first session with you look like?
I have one thing going for me that most therapists don’t… I am old! I have dealt with many situations in my life some good and some bad. So I bring a depth of understanding to my clients issues that is genuine. Probably the main thing that my clients take away from my time with them is acceptance. I have a varied list of clients who feel very comfortable in our sessions.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I like to begin my therapeutic relationships using Rogerian Therapy. I’ve been gradually go to more cognitive methods which focus on specific issues in specific actions to address those issues.
