What does a first session with you look like?
Our first session will be all about you and what you need. I heavily focus on your self-care so that you have a good maintenance plan throughout your healing journey. During each of our subsequent sessions, we work to understand what is going on, find the right tools and discuss how to use them. I challenge you to practice outside of our sessions and give feedback.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I customize treatment methods to fit your needs. Methods I have used in the past are mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, dialectal behavioral, trauma-focused and many others.
