What does a first session with you look like?
Life can take us down different roads/pathways that we don't expect creating challenges. I would like to help you build a safe and secure journey back. To build your self-esteem, teach you new coping skills/strategies. To help you see your full potential. Together we can develop goals, work on strategies, get you where you want to be and feel good about yourself and build your self-esteem and self-confidence. To let you know that your life matters, you matter. YOU have a purpose.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
In my therapeutic approach, I will use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, mindfulness, and grounding techniques. I would consider it an honor to work with you. I would like to be a part of helping you achieve your goals and dreams. I like to offer homework assignments and self-help books. Seeking therapy is not an easy decision or choice to make. I commend you for reaching out and wanting to create and have a better life for yourself.
