What does a first session with you look like?
Clients can expect to be heard and validated in sessions with me. The goals you set are sometimes easy to notice when met and sometimes it takes time to see the change. My goal is to create a space for people to feel they can question the choices they make because that is how we grow and change. We need the space to think.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I am adaptable and like when clients are open and honest. If I am doing something that is not working (talking too much or not enough for example) let me know! I try to adjust my approach for each client. I always try to take a holistic approach because something that works well in one area of our lives can be the issue in another. This is usually confusing and frustrating, but empowering when we can notice.
