What does a first session with you look like?
As a therapist, I am supportive, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Our relationship is a collaborative one and I will facilitate and support you in your journey to heal. I will not give advice or tell you what I think you should do because I believe you are the expert in your life and only you know what is best for you.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to address distress and assist clients to improve emotional regulation and assist in the development of personal coping strategies.
