What does a first session with you look like?

I help you to help yourself understand how you found yourself in the place you are today and help you discover how to create a path to the place you would like to be in your thinking and emotional health.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

We'll use an approach which includes addressing all aspects of yourself; mind, body and spirit. We will primarily use Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Informed Care. You will learn how the mind and body are tied together; focusing on breathing techniques, relaxation and thought stopping to help center yourself and change your current, go to coping, to more helpful and productive skills.
