What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Katrina Muenster is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Roosevelt University with a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology (Counseling Practice). Katrina has garnered many culturally diverse experiences from working with individuals in community mental health settings, working with students in school settings, and working as a first responder for mental health crisis at hospitals in DuPage County. Katrina understands that the decision to seek a therapist is often a vulnerable and at times difficult decision to make. Katrina wants you to know that she is here to help ease your journey into mental wellness. She has curated her office space to ensure it produces a comfortable and relaxing environment where conversation can occur naturally. She also understands that not everyone travels the same paths in life and strives to meet individuals where they are to better serve and understand their needs. Katrina has experience serving individuals from a variety of backgrounds and enjoys working with populations from youth to older adulthood, as well as couples and families.
