What does a first session with you look like?

I invite individuals to start a new adventure toward positivity and change in a non-judgmental environment where we will work together as a team to reach new goals. I enjoy helping children and adults learn better ways to manage their feelings, behavior, stress, and anxiety levels. I look forward to helping individuals utilize positive coping skills and strategies to improve their quality of life and help them see the world in a more positive light.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I utilize a culturally sensitive, strength-based approach with each and every individual. Other evidence-based interventions utilized include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Trauma Informed Care Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT) Emotionally Focused Compassion Focused Family Systems
