What does a first session with you look like?

In our first session, I spend time getting to understand you and your needs. During this process, I gather background information so that we can collaboratively identify treatment goals and set objectives. I use a problem-solving approach, with directed tasks to work towards during and between sessions. My goal is to empower you with the tools that you need to address adversity.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy to address anxiety, coping strategies and adjustment. I also use neurocognitive rehabilitation therapy to address attention, learning and memory, executive functioning and higher-order reasoning skills.
