I have used little other than Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) over the course of my career. It has been what has made the most sense to me, many issues can easily be framed in a CBT perspective, and it usually makes good sense to clients.
I hope for my clients to gain a better understanding of the factors that affect their mental health, and a better understanding of things that they may be able to do to improve their mental health. I hope for the development of habits of thinking and behaving that will ultimately lead to significant improvements in their lives.
