What does a first session with you look like?
My approach focuses on identifying physical cues, recognizing thoughts, considering consequences, implementing solutions, choosing behaviors, and promoting progress and resolution. I'm skilled in helping clients achieve breakthroughs in depression, anger, anxiety, PTSD, relationships, substance and behavioral addictions by identifying what is contributing to your mental unrest.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I'm trained in EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), therapeutic approaches that address bothersome memories and experiences affecting your current situation. I'm also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness.
