What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

Robert obtained his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California, and also holds a Bachelor of Psychology degree from East Carolina University. Robert has many years' experience working within therapeutic foster care, specifically the Intensive Alternative Family Treatment level of care. Robert sees children/adolescents and adults individually as well as families and groups. Robert has interest in working with a wide array of behavioral and mental health issues such as trauma, anxiety, personality disorders and depression. Robert utilizes an integrative approach specifically designed to meet each individual's needs and uses techniques from a variety of modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
