What does a first session with you look like?
After our first session, clients can expect homework to be given as a way of quickly working towards treatment goal. I try to schedule client’s next session in advance and give client a target date for the completion of their homework (prior to session)
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use the following methods in therapy: CBT, DBT, Person- Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, Strength Based, gender-based therapy and Homework. I will often assess anxiety/depression using GAD-7 and PHQ-9 regularly.
