What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Robin M. Clancy is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island. She has been practicing for more than 25 years and has vast experience working with pre-teens, teens, adults, and families. Robin is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness. and Crisis Intervention. In her full-time job as a school social worker, she receives ongoing training on Trauma Informed Treatment and Cultural Sensitivity. She has years of experience collaborating with schools, DCYF as well as other professionals in order to provide true wrap around services. Robin treats a wide range of issues, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and child/parent struggles. She is particularly focused on working to assist families and individuals on improving their coping and communication skills in order to bring about positive change.
