What does a first session with you look like?
My goal is to help you improve communication, heal past hurts, and work through your differences to find healthier, happier connections with each other. I like to help you find something to think about or practice in between sessions to keep you moving toward your goals.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I am trained in a variety of treatment methods and tailor my approach to each clients unique needs. Some of the approaches I draw from include strengths based, person centered, positive psychology, trauma focused, family/marital, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, emotionally focused therapy, Gottman method, narrative therapy.
