What does a first session with you look like?
You will find me to be personable, attentive, and compassionate. I also believe that light-heartedness is critical not only to healing, but in everyday life. My responsibility is to provide you with an emotionally safe and non-judgmental setting, and the encouragement and guidance to utilize the solutions I provide for you to heal.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
The psychotherapeutic modalities I rely most heavily on now are: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems and Coherence Therapy. Over the years, I have studied and/or trained in the following: Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Hypnotherapy, Energy Psychology, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Coherence Therapy.
