What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use mainly cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, and solution focused therapy for individuals. I use EMDR to help with PTSD and Gottman and EFT for couples. I also use DBT (dialetical behavior therapy) for bipolar and dealing with chronic pain.
What does a first session with you look like?
I highly believe in working with my clients. I collaborate with my clients to reach achievable goals that are agreed upon by both parties. I desire input from my clients as to changing direction on goals as needed and when goals are reached.
