What does a first session with you look like?
As your Therapist, I will always respect your autonomy, I will always ask you what you want to focus on addressing and ask for feedback throughout the sessions to endure you are feeling supported and agree with a treatment plan. I am here to support you, knowing you are the expert on you; I am here to share knowledge and identify patterns of behavior that make you feel stuck no matter how hard you try; I am here to guide you on using therapeutic interventions such as client-centered therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy and many more to help you be successful at achieving the changes you desire.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
As a Licensed Psychotherapist, I have ample knowledge about therapeutic modalities that allow me to offer support to my clients for a variety of needs. However, not all modalities are effective for all clients, due to this, I take my client's beliefs and individuality very seriously and get to know them before choosing a modality such as Cognitive behavioral therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Narrative therapy, Solution focused therapy or Structural Family therapy
