What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use structured methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I don’t use these right away, rather I get to know you and your needs and together we decide whether any of these is right for you. If none of these is the right fit for you, I use eclectic approach; utilize a mix of therapies that fit your needs. I personally find mindfulness and yoga laughter to be especially helpful in managing symptoms.
What does a first session with you look like?
After our first session, you will feel relaxed and hopeful. We will build on our therapeutic relationship through collaboration and patience. You will also be aware of your expectations and how the process of therapy works.
