Under Clinical Supervision

DeLuca Rousz, Licensed Master Social Worker, P116832 is practicing under the supervision of Amy Gottheimer (New York, LCSW, 79136) at Resilience Lab.

Please, note: A clinician listed as being “clinically supervised” is completing clinical hours toward their licensure. They have one or more fully licensed clinical supervisors that often have special training to become supervisors. They consult with their supervisor(s) on all of their cases, which means that, when working with them, you are getting the time and expertise of multiple therapists in your treatment.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

My approach to therapy is collaborative and personally tailored. I operate from a Somatic Internal Family Systems framework and an abolitionist harm-reduction lens, and am trained in EMDR (a treatment option we can use to dismantle negative self-beliefs, and treat trauma-related problems). I firmly believe that you are the authority on your life and already have an amazing capacity to persevere, heal and thrive. My role is to support you in connecting with and strengthening those abilities.

Work History

I am a Resilience Lab therapist. I have worked doing therapy with adults, adolescents and children at STEPS to End Family Violence. There was a focus on trauma therapy, and I trained in Internal Family Systems, Trauma Therapy Systems, EMDR, TF-CBT, and Child Parent Psychotherapy. I also worked in training and peer support roles through Silberman School of Social Work. Previous, I have done mental health peer support facilitation and trainings independently and with community groups.
