What does a first session with you look like?
After our first session, we will build upon your goals for therapy and unpack the stories that inform your lived experience. The healing process is often challenging, uncomfortable, and non-linear - sessions will encourage an equal balance of self-care as well as vulnerability.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Much of my therapeutic perspective is led by the idea that problems exist within sociocultural contexts, with their own histories and goals for our lives. My goal in our work together is to cultivate intentional relationships with you and the problems that exist in your life. I primarily practice narrative talk therapy and EMDR.
