What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Sam DuBois is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island who has been in practice since 2023. He received his BSW from Rhode Island College and his MSW from Anna Maria College. Sam takes pride in meeting each individual where they're at and utilizing a strengths-based therapeutic approach. Sam has a nonjudgmental, compassionate and gentle way of communicating. Sam's wide array of professional and life experiences help him relate to various individuals/issues. Outside of work, Sam is an avid Celtics and Patriots fan. He loves sports in general, continues to go to the gym and plays tennis. He also plays guitar and likes to read. He's a big film junkie as well and his favorite movie is the Godfather Part 2. He enjoys hiking with his favorite local spot to hike being Leominster State Forest. To offset his love for sports and exercise, he is a foodie in every sense of the word.
