What is your style/approach to therapy?
My practice is grounded in social justice and promoting psychological flexibility. I take a warm, holistic approach, blending CBT, ACT, and psychodynamic therapy to support your unique journey. Together, we’ll work towards your goals with a mix of insight, understanding, and practical solutions, creating a safe, collaborative space where you feel supported every step of the way.
What do you think is the biggest barrier today for people seeking care?
In addition to cost and managing insurance coverage, the biggest barrier to care is the preconceived notion that something must be "wrong" with you to seek out therapy. While therapy is one effective tool to treating severe psychopathology and trauma, it can also help manage day-to-day stressors and improve your overall life.
What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?
I believe my biggest strengths as a therapist lie in my ability to create a trusting, honest, and safe space for clients to share their lives with me. Through humor and candor, I aim to appropriately relate to clients to reinforce that I understand what they are experiencing and am on the journey, alongside with them.
