What does a first session with you look like?
Working together we will identify goals for therapy which will guide our sessions. Generally we will work on clarifying issues, processing events, and creating actionable steps on how to move forward. Often time, we'll discuss coping skills and specific ways to manage thoughts and feelings.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Each treatment plan is specific for every person depending on their needs and goals. When appropriate we could use worksheets or interventions outlined in EMDR, CBT, DBT and EFT principles.
