In our first session, you can expect to be asked quite a few questions about what brings you here and what you're looking for - but don't worry! These questions help me understand you and your situations and ultimately helps us to collaborate on identifying and planning for your goals. Moving forward, I like to let you be in the driver's seat. Some weeks, you may just need to talk and vent; while, other weeks, I may be showing you new ways to cope or practice mindfulness - it depends on your needs and what you want our of our sessions.
I primarily focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing. I utilize a strengths based approach, where we work to make the most out of your best qualities to find solutions to your biggest hurdles.
