What does a first session with you look like?
While I utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, I do not approach each client the same way. When you meet with me you will be treated with patience, kindness, respect and unconditional positive regard. I believe the best about all of my clients and my goal is to co-discover that uniquely awesome individual that you are and help you utilize your innate strengths to overcome your challenges. For some clients, we will work to identify the outcomes you desire and together, we will identify the resources and strengths you have that will help you achieve what you desire. For others, I will work with you to identify negative thinking patterns that lead to negative feelings and behaviors and help you incorporate new ways of thinking that will lead to positive thoughts and feelings.
