What does a first session with you look like?
I strive to provide a non-judgmental, open, and safe environment for clients during our virtual, weekly sessions. I focus on empowering clients to feel confident as the main “driver” in their lives by gently “challenging” them to move beyond perceived limitations through solution-focused strategies (and a little humor) in combination with mindfulness exercises.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Counseling is not a one size fits all experience and as such, I utilize tools from the following therapeutic approaches to assist my clients' individual needs.
