What does a first session with you look like?

When we have our first session together, we will focus on creating space where you feel safe and comfortable. We’ll also establish goals for our future sessions together. After a few more sessions together we’ve laid the groundwork for a trusting relationship that fosters growth towards your goals. My hope is you will notice progress from tools and techniques we discuss after spending several sessions together and have a desire to continue working towards your goals.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I use a combination of relational, cognitive behavioral, solutions-focused, and strengths-base treatment methods. I encourage consistent and intentional practice with mindfulness and grounding techniques.
