What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

Shawn Kade, PMHNP Shawn Kade is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Georgia who has been practicing since 2022. Shawn has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. He incorporates a comprehensive patient-centered approach to ensure each individual is heard and understood within an atmosphere of acceptance and compassion. Shawn believes that a collaborative approach builds a strong alliance that creates lasting change and strive to empower all individuals to be active participants in their own recovery. He enables individuals to explore mindfulness and challenge thoughts and behaviors that serve as barriers to fully enjoying life. Shawn offers medication management and supportive therapy. Outside of work, Shawn enjoys hiking, being outdoors, swimming, biking, exercising, reading, trying new restaurants and cuisines, traveling, playing drums, and spending time with family and friends.
