What does a first session with you look like?
I listen to hear where you are in your life now and where you would like to go and together we will create attainable goals to work toward to help you move forward.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic techniques will primarily be used to help you learn how to change and reshape unhealthy ways of thinking and behaving. I will listen to, teach and support you as you learn to implement different coping strategies and healthier ways of thinking. Each client is different so we will focus on where you are emotionally and what techniques work best for you.
