What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Sims Lamason is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in Georgia who has been practicing since 2023. She has an M. Ed. CMHC from The College of William and Mary. Sims adds expressive and embodied methods to traditional CBT/DBT techniques, using a person-centered approach. She is energetic and creative and has clinical and volunteer experience with diverse cultures and ages. Outside of work, Sims is a professional music theater performer by trade, and enjoys anything creative or expressive; she is passionate about serving her community. She loves fajitas and pastries!.
